Review | Foreo Issa & Hybrid Brush Head

[an iFabbo shop product]

A few months ago I cashed in some coins in the iFabbo shop to try the Foreo Issa Toothbrush ($199) - after I reviewed the Foreo Luna (here), I was definitely on a Foreo hype - unfortunately, I ended up disliking the Foreo Issa because the silicone head just wasn't abrasive enough to actually clean my teeth. I opted to not review the product because I don't enjoy writing negative reviews. Recently iFabbo reached out to offer the new Foreo Hybrid Brush Head ($19.95) for review. Now that we've addressed my previous experience with the Foreo Issa, let's get into my rave review! ;)

Although I disliked the original head on the Foreo Issa, the Sonic Pulse Technology was the best vibrating toothbrush I've ever tried. There is no spinning, no pivoting, no movement - all factors I dislike in other electric toothbrushes on the market. The pulse vibration feels stimulating on my gums and teeth, they say it will "break up and remove plaque, preventing tartar buildup and cavities". With the original head, I didn't notice an improvement compared to a standard toothbrush. Now that I've been using the Hybrid Brush Head, which features a center section of "PBT polymer bristles" to "deliver more vigorous cleaning while silicone bristles remain gentle on gums", this is the most clean feeling my teeth and gums have ever had. I definitely feel like you can't stray away from traditional bristles for oral care and cleansing.

Simply, the Foreo Issa Toothbrush with the Hybrid Brush Head is a big improvement from a standard toothbrush. The polymer bristles scrub the teeth clean, for that amazingly smooth feeling, the silicone bristles massage and stimulate the gums, which we all know aids in better oral health, and the Sonic Pulse assists in an overall sensational experience. I had no idea a vibrating toothbrush could be such an improvement to my oral care routine. I think the Foreo Issa is a great device, and the Hybrid tooth brush definitely makes it worth the price tag.
