Review | ELF Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette
These new ELF 10 pan Eyeshadow Palettes are really good quality compared to all the other palettes they've done over the years (I swatched all of them here). I really hope they continue to expand this line with more themed palettes and colorful variations. Today I'm reviewing the Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette ($10.00) that is currently restocked. This palette is the ultimate Spring vibe, with soft pinks and golds, in a mix of matte and shimmer shadows.
I want to point out that these palettes are not super crazy pigmented, but rather a realistic amount of color and blendability. These shadows can be paired up in any combination and they will always blend well and wear all day without fading away or creasing. They do kick up a bit of product, but most eye shadows do, however I will say these don't have a lot of fall out when applying and blending. The matte shadows are buttery soft and not crumbly, they hold good color and apply a bit lighter than you see in the pan - they are definitely buildable if you want to intensify a look. The shimmers are fab quality, and even the sparkle shadows hold together well.
I'm not usually a fan of pinks and golds on my skin tone, I feel like they don't brighten my complexion like they do on other skin tones, but because I'm an ELF hoarder, I bought it anyways. Turns out, I kinda love the Rose Gold palette! :) I'm really loving the warm pinks and pinky golds, it's definitely a unique palette to my collection, I have never worn a warm pink and now I'm kinda obsessed! I LOVE the darkest shade in this palette because it's not a brown or a black, rather an appropriate deep plum with rose gold shimmers. It compliments every shadow in this palette, and I honestly feel like it completes the array of colors.
